Delete your Balencia account
How to permanently delete your Balencia account and the personal data linked to it — from the app, or from this page if you can't sign in or no longer have the app.

Delete your account in the app
- 1Open Balencia and sign in.
- 2Go to Settings → Account and choose Delete account. (It is also under Profile → Account.)
- 3Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT. If you sign in with a password, enter it too.
- 4Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
You'll be asked to sign in first if you aren't already.
Request deletion without signing in
Lost your password, deleted the app, or signed up with Google or Apple? Enter the email address on your account and we'll send a link to confirm.
How we verify it's you
- We email a confirmation link only to the address already on the account, so only the inbox owner can use it.
- The link works once and expires after 30 minutes. While your latest link is less than 10 minutes old, asking again keeps it rather than sending another; after that, a new link replaces it.
- Opening it shows what will be deleted. Nothing happens until you type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm.
- For your privacy, this page shows the same message whether or not an account exists for the address you enter.
Used Sign in with Apple with Hide My Email? Enter the private relay address Apple created for Balencia. You'll find it on your Apple device under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
What is deleted
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore the account or its data afterwards.
Profile and sign-in
Your name, email address, password, profile photo and preferences, plus linked Google or Apple sign-in. Sign in with Apple access is revoked.
Health and fitness data
Workouts, meals, sleep, vitals, mood and wellbeing check-ins, assessments and data synced from wearables.
Journals, goals and coaching
Journal entries, goals, plans, and your conversations with the AI coach.
Messages you sent
Removed from Balencia for everyone in the conversation, not only for you.
Uploads
Photos, videos, voice notes and documents you uploaded, including copies other people forwarded into their chats.
Connected apps and WhatsApp
Access tokens for wearables and connected apps, and your WhatsApp link data.
Device and analytics identifiers
Push notification tokens are deleted. Analytics records tied to your account are deleted or permanently unlinked from it.
What we keep, and why
A small amount of information is kept because the law requires it, to prove billing was stopped, or to stop a deleted account from coming back. Our Privacy Policy explains how long records are retained.
Invoices and tax records
Invoices for payments you made stay as accounting records, as tax law requires. Your account is unlinked from them and invoice download links are removed.
Billing deletion record
A record of which subscriptions were cancelled when the account was deleted. It holds no email address.
Deletion markers
Your former account ID and payment customer ID, kept only so a late payment event cannot recreate the account.
Security and audit logs
Records of security events and of actions our staff took on accounts. They do not contain your health data or message content.
Copies held by other people
Text another person forwarded into their own chats stays there, as do notifications already delivered to their devices. Photos, videos, voice notes and files you shared are removed, including forwarded copies.
Timing and subscriptions
Immediately
Your account and its data are deleted as soon as you confirm, in the app or from the email link.
Within 24 hours
Uploaded files — photos, videos, voice notes and documents — are erased from storage.
Subscriptions first
An active subscription is cancelled before anything is deleted. If our payment provider can't confirm the cancellation, nothing is deleted and you can try again.
No longer have access to your email?
Email support@balencia.app with the address on your account. We'll confirm the account is yours before deleting anything, and we never ask for your password.
